Featured Sushi Lover Juan Carlos
This week’s Sushi Lover-Boy is attorney Juan Carlos of Phoenix, Arizona.
How were you introduced to sushi? A girlfriend at the time took me out to Sushi.
Did you like sushi the first time you tried it? No, got a dose of too much wasabi. If not, when/how did you start to like it? It took a few months to build up the courage to try it again.
How often do you eat sushi? How often would you like to eat sushi?
I eat it about 1-2 times a month but would like to go once a week.
What is your favorite (or favorites) sushi? Anything with tuna.
What is your favorite sushi restaurant? Why?
Takamatsu in Chandler, AZ. Great staff and food. Prices are very reasonable and they have an all you can eat menu.
What is your most memorable sushi experience? Gorging on sushi with my foster daughter. We were so full we were sick.
Where is the most unusual or exotic place/city you’ve eaten sushi?
Burning Man, that was an act of faith…
Have you converted/introduced anyone to sushi? No.
What was your score on the “Are you really a sushi lover” test?
