Takamatsu’s All You Can Eat Sushi
Takamatsu of Chandler offers something for just about everyone: Korean barbeque, Japanese cuisine, and sushi and more sushi. I haven’t had the barbeque yet since I have been solely focused on the sushi, but I dined with friends recently who enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura. The teriyaki has a smoky/grilled taste to it which is different than the usual flavor.
What I like a lot about the food at Takamatsu is that the portions are generous and the food presentation matches the taste – very good.
So Much Sushi, So Little Time
But of course it’s the sushi that keeps me coming back. The portions are very generous, the fish is fresh, and the all-you-can-eat menu is only $19.95! Oh my goodness! I try not to stuff myself, but the lure of unlimited good sushi for a fixed price usually counters any noble attempt to eat sensibly.
I highly recommend Takamatsu’s Yummy Yummy Roll, which features shrimp tempura and crab, cream cheese and smelt roe. It really is yummy.
